Krafton’s official announcement

Almost a month after Krafton’s official announcement, Battlegrounds Mobile India has been officially launched in the country. The game is available to download on the Google Play Store and as of now, there is no update on the iOS release. Those who have not pre-registered for the game can download it from Google Play Store and pre-registered players will only have to update the game from the store.

Google Play app

It may also happen that some players may not see the update option on the Google Play app. So browse your desktop.

And there you have to click on the ‘Install’ option, but make sure that you use the same Google account, which is also logged in to your mobile app. This will update the game by downloading the required files, although you may need to download some in-game content such as texture packs and maps from within the game.

Krafton also thanked players with an in-game outfit called Constable Set, as the game has been downloaded 10 million times so far. You will find this outfit inside the game.

Battlegrounds Mobile India was announced in the first week of May, and the game went on pre-registration for Android users about two weeks later. It was then launched into open beta on June 17th, which soon transitioned to Early Access. It’s been available to play since then, but the iOS version hasn’t been released nor has a release date been announced yet.
