Battlegrounds Mobile India has banned over 336,000 players from using illegal programs to gain some form of profit. Krafton shared the development on the game’s official website, saying it investigated matters between July 30 and August 5. Additionally, the game has crossed 48 million downloads, the first leg of its 50M download rewards event. The developer has also teased the iOS launch once again, though no date has been shared. Battleground Mobile, which will replace PUBG Mobile India, was officially launched on July 2. Since then its user base has been increasing tremendously.

Krafton shared on the official website that 336,736 accounts in Battlegrounds Mobile India have been banned for using illegal programs. These accounts have been permanently banned and will not be able to return to the game after a short period of time. The developer said the team investigated these matters through their security system and community monitoring between July 30 and August 5 and found that they were using illegal programs to gain an advantage in the game.

“BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA will endeavor to enforce strong sanctions with the ultimate goal of eliminating the use of illegal programs in order to provide you with an enjoyable gaming environment,” the website states.

50M Downloads Rewards Event in anticipation of reaching 5 crore downloads.

On August 5, the developer announced the 50M Downloads Rewards Event in anticipation of reaching 5 crore downloads. At that time, Battlegrounds Mobile India stood at 46 million downloads and has now crossed the 48 million mark, which was the first leg of the 50M downloads rewards event. Players are rewarded with three Supply Coupon Crate Scraps in the game and should look for them in their events section.

The game was officially released on July 2, and in a week, it crossed 34.4 million downloads. It is fair to say that it will not take long for it to reach the 50 million (5 crores) milestone.

Krafton re-teased the iOS launch for Battlegrounds Mobile India

Last weekend, Krafton re-teased the iOS launch for Battlegrounds Mobile India, but like last time, didn’t share a release date. It has been known for quite some time that the game will be released on iOS but the developer has recently started teasing it again, which means it may release soon.
