One in all Bollywood’s most prestigious movie manufacturing firms Fox-Star India has been dealing with monetary setbacks in 2020.
First Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak after which Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s Panga have each underperformed severely on the box-office. And now with Coronova enjoying havoc with schedules and budgets, we hear Fox-Star had pulled out of its collaboration with Karan Johar for the lavish costume drama Takht.
Sources within the know say this might be the start of the top of Karan Johar’s collaboration with Fox-Star. Johar and Fox-Star have collaborated on a number of profitable and not-so-successful challenge in the course of the previous 10 years. However now with Fox-Star’s CEO Vijay Singh placing in his papers, Fox-Star is re-examining its long-standing affiliation with Karan Johar and Dharma Productions.
The primary casualty of this re-assessment is Takht which was meant to be the costliest Dharma-Fox collaboration of all occasions. However then, God and Coronavirus had different plans.
