Free Fire City Open 2021: Prize pool distribution and format revealed

Highlights:

• Free Fire India recently announce prizes for the upcoming tournament.

Garena has announced the Free Fire City Open 2021 tournament in India. The is the national tournament being hosted in the country for the very first, time and to participate the survivors can sign up in-game through the Free Fire Cup (FFC) site.

According to Garena, these 12 teams will consist of the 10 top teams from 8 states, which have been named after their major city – Delhi, Mumbai (Maharashtra), Hyderabad(Telangana), Ahmedabad  (Gujarat), Kolkata (West Bengal), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Lucknow  (Uttar Pradesh), and Visakhapatnam(Andhra Pradesh). Besides this, there will be two wildcard entries that will come from outside of these 8 regions.

Free Fire City Open 2021: Prizes Announced

The tournament features teams from eight Indian cities. FFCO will go on for four months and promises a massive prize pool of ₹60 lakhs.

National Finals:-

1st Place (Winners):- 15,00,000 INR

2nd Place (1st Runner-up):- 7,50,000 INR

3rd Place (2nd Runner-up):- 5,00,000 INR

4th Place:- 3,00,000 INR

5th Place:- 2,00,000 INR

6th Place:- 2,00,000 INR

7th Place:- 1,50,000 INR

8th Place:- 1,50,000 INR

9th Place:- 1,00,000 INR

10th Place:- 1,00,000 INR

11th Place:- 50,000 INR

12th Place:- 50,000 INR

Minimum eligibility criteria to participate in the Free Fire City Open:-

1. Players must be at least 12 years of age.

2. All players must be ranked at Level 40.

3. The minimum ranking of participants must be Diamond 1 or above with a ranking point of 2538 throughout the entire period of FFCO (open qualifier).

4. All three players, including the team captain, must be from the same region. The region will be based on the player’s Aadhar Card.

How to Register in Free Fire City Open?

If you have 40+ level in-game and a minimum Diamond 1 rank, then you can register for the tournament. To register in the event you need to follow these steps

•  Open FFC mode in Free Fire
•  Click on the more information (top right corner)
•  Read the eligibility criteria and details
•  Create Squad or Join a squad
•  After the squad is full, Click on the register.

After successfully forming a team with predetermined members, players can start the match by clicking “Start Game” in the Free Fire City Open lobby, then invite their registered teammates to form a squad and start playing.
