Google has focused a lot on improving the privacy of users and introduced several other features that will help users. It has introduced a quick delete option to remove the last 15 minutes of your Search history with a single tap from the Google Account Menu.

Google I/O 2021: Android 12 comes with new features for privacy
A new privacy dashboard will show what type of data was accessed and when. A new indicator has been added that will let users know when an app using its camera or microphone.
Android 12 connectivity with ChromeOS
Users will be able to unlock their Chromebook with their Android phones. They will also get notifications from their phone on the Chromebook. Google is also building a dedicated TV app that will work with Android TVs. Further, Android Auto wireless will be supported by nearly 100 million cars.
Google I/O 2021: The new password manager in Chrome
The new feature will identify passwords that may have leaked and the users will be shown a ‘Change password’ button from Assistant.
Whenever you check your passwords and Chrome finds a password that may have been compromised, you will see a “Change password” button from Assistant. When you tap the button, Chrome will not only navigate to the site but also go through the entire process of changing your password,” Google explained in a blog post.
Better AI for PoC photography and categorization
Google Photos can automatically edit your pictures to look better. The company said: it teamed up with dozens of ‘expert image makers’ to improve its AI and make it more equitable instead of prioritizing lighter-skinned subjects.
Google Maps: latest features:
Google Maps will show the Live View instantly from the app. The company is adding more prominent virtual signs, and it is also bringing Live View inside as well. Live View is not yet available in India. Google is also adding more details to Street Maps. It plans to do so to 50 new cities by the end of the year.
