Google is rolling out a ‘Hey Google’ sensitivity feature for smart devices

Google is beginning to “roll out regularly” a function permitting you to customise voice detection sensitivity on Google Assistant gadgets, a spokesperson confirmed to The Verge.

Though the function has not been broadly launched but, Mishaal Rahman, editor-in-chief of XDA Builders, was capable of access the feature by tinkering with the Google Dwelling app’s code, he advised The Verge.

Screenshots that Rahman posted to Twitter present the “‘Hey Google’ Sensitivity” function displaying a slider that permits you to enhance or scale back the sensitivity with which Google Assistant gadgets decide up the command “Hey Google.”

Final September, Google confirmed there was an update coming that might allow you to regulate listening sensitivity. The brand new setting is supposed to lower unintentional activations of your Assistant.
