Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo has reminisced about a very iconic moment from the show’s early seasons with former co-star Kate Walsh.

As if you can believe it, it’s not been 15 years since Walsh’s character Addison Montgomery made her debut.

Addison was introduced was the wife of Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), the love interest of Meredith Grey (Pompeo).

Coming in with one of the best character introductions of, like, all-time, ever, Addison saunters over to Meredith and says: ‘So you’re the woman whose been screwing my husband.’

Honestly, we’re still shaking. And it turns out, so are Ellen and Kate.

Taking to Twitter to celebrate the anniversary, Kate said: ‘Unreal that today marks 15 years ago to the day since this little lady walked on to your screen and checked ya for screwing her husband.’

Ellen replied, saying: ‘Thank god I messed with your hubby! It worked out well for us both!

‘Love you so much and that scene…when your character showed up was such a defining moment for this show.’

She continued: ‘From that point on we had the hooked!’
