Hi readers!! There is good news for all of you that Microsoft is working on a most wanted feature by users. The Feature is in Testing Phase and soon will be available to all the users by an update.

The new feature is a dark theme that will color the entire documents in black canvas, earlier even after enabled Dark theme, canvas still stays bright white.

This doesn’t mean your pages will print in dark made; the feature is meant solely as a tool during writing. To preview how the page will look when printed or shared, you can simply tap on the ‘Switch Modes’ button in the ‘View’ menu. The interface will remain in dark mode, but you’ll now see the page as it would be printed.

Microsoft Dark Mode Feature: How to Enable Dark Mode

A program manager on Microsoft’s Word team Ali Forelli told the publication, “This has been a long-requested feature from many of Office Insiders and we’re excited to make it happen.”

It has become increasingly important,” he said, “to reduce eye strain and accommodate light sensitivity.”

1. Windows:

To turn on dark mode in Windows 10, head to your Microsoft ‘To Do’ settings and select Dark theme. You can also select Use my Windows theme.

2. Android:

Microsoft ‘To Do’ will automatically use your Android theme settings. If you’d like To Do to use a different theme, open you’re ‘To Do’ settings and select Theme. You can select from Use my System theme, Light theme, or Dark theme.

3. iOS:

Microsoft ‘To Do’ will automatically use your iOS appearance settings. To turn on dark mode, navigate to your device’s Settings > Display & Brightness. Under Appearance, select Dark.

4. Mac:

Microsoft ‘To Do’ will automatically use your Mac appearance settings. Navigate to System Preferences > General. Under Appearance, select Dark.
