Saffron Barker has been announced as the newest In The Style ambassador and we’re already obsessed with it.

The YouTuber and Strictly star made the exciting announcement on Instagram after teasing a special project over the past week.

Sharing a snap of herself rocking some of the clothes from her collection and holding a giant cake as she’s surrounded by balloons, she wrote: ‘IN THE STYLE x SAFFRON BARKER 😭💛

‘I actually can’t believe I’m writing this right now … it’s a real pinch me moment! I am so happy to announce that I am working with @inthestyle & my debut collection launches THIS SUNDAY! 😻

‘As some of you may have guessed, this has been in the planning for a while 💛 lockdown has meant that my first collection is now going to be a Saffron inspired summer loungewear line 💗🌴💙 (with a tie-dye twist because I’m obsessed! 🍬💙🍭)

‘My collection will be available THIS SUNDAY 31st MAY in sizes 6-24 & available to shop from 6pm on their app and 7pm at http://www.inthestyle.com 📱SET YOUR ALARMS THIS SUNDAY 6PM (UK time).’

Fans and friends are thrilled for her, with Strictly’s Dianne Buswell writing: ‘Go on girl.’

In The Style CEO Adam Frisby added: ‘Woohoo!!! Finally!!! So happy to finally announce it and proud of the range, pleasure to have you as part of my brand and can’t wait for everyone to see how amazing it is ❤️.’

Meanwhile, fellow YouTubers Lucy and Lydia told her: ‘Congratulations Saffron! 🤗💗.’

The 19-year-old’s clearly been keeping herself busy in lockdown, getting in on TikTok trends and showing off her dance skills – clearly Strictly’s prepared her well.

And she’s also doing her bit for the NHS, recently revealing she’ll be donating all her YouTube ad revenue to help frontline workers.

She told Metro.co.uk: ‘I’ve been at home with my family and thinking of ways to help and I thought to myself, “Why don’t I ask other YouTubers to do the same thing?”

‘That’s where the hashtag YouTubers4NHSHeroes came about because the YouTube community is such a big community and we’ve come together so many times before.

‘And like everyone, we’re all trying to think of ways to help from home, and we YouTubers have a huge following.

‘And for me as well, I have a lot of younger people watching and I wanted to think of a way the younger generation could get involved.’
