Sony removes Cyberpunk 2077 from Playstation

Sony announced on late Thursday that it would offer refunds to people who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 and remove what had been one of the year’s most highly anticipated video games from its online store. This came after a week of negative reviews and criticism from users over its poor performance.

To do so, the company has set up a website where customers can signup to submit their request for refund. Once the confirmation is done that you purchased the game from the PlayStation Store, you should get your refund. However, this may be difficult at the moment as the company is getting a lot of requests from resentful customers.

“SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. We know the developers at CD Projekt Red have worked hard to ship Cyberpunk in extremely challenging circumstances. However, we also realise that some players have been unhappy with the current experience on older consoles.” the company said.

Some users reported that they were unable to request the refund, even after the announcement. To that Sony Company replied that they are working on the same and would not let their customers be unhappy.

It was reported that Cyberpunk 2077 unplayable on Sony‘s PlayStation PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox One S consoles.

CD Projekt also stated that they don’t intend to pull out Cyberpunk 2077 from the Xbox digital store.
