- Telegram also announced two new web versions.

WhatsApp rival and a popular messaging platform Telegram has received a new update, which has brought in a number of features for users. The new update brings Payments 2.0 for all Telegram chats, Scheduling and Mini Profiles for Voice Chats, new Telegram apps for your browser, and more.
Starting with the Telegram Payments 2.0, merchants can now natively accept credit card payments in any chat, relying on eight integrated third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Buyers can add a tip whenever they make a purchase to show some extra love to their favorite artists, stores, or delivery drivers.
The company spokesperson said about Telegram latest update:
“With the new web versions you can get instant access to your chats on any device – desktop or mobile, Photos, and videos can now be expanded directly from the chat — simply pinch to zoom in right away, without tapping to open the media viewer,”
Another new feature is schedule voice chats. Now, admins of groups or channels can schedule a voice chat and all members of the group can see a countdown to the call. When the countdown ends, the users will automatically get a notification that the call is now live.
Telegram also announced two new web versions. These actually went live earlier this month but the company only officially announced them today. Why the two versions? Apparently, they had a contest to build a simplified version of the website and they ended up with two that they really liked so they chose both as the winner.
Telegram says the new web versions are accessible via both desktop or mobile. The Web apps – Telegram Web K and Telegram Web Z are only 400KB in size and provides many features available on the phone apps.
