You need to give access to your phone’s notifications.

While Android smartphone users can use Google Assistant to send messages, iOS users can send messages using Siri. This is a convenient way of sending messages when you are busy or not in a position to type a message, but still, need to send a message.

WhatsApp: How to send messages without typing?

  • Install the Google Assistant app on your Android smartphone. You can also tap and hold the home button on your Android smartphone to activate Google Assistant.
  •  After installing the app, tap on the ‘Open’ button and say ‘Hey Google.’ You can even voice command your Google Assistant by saying “Hey Google” or “Okay Google.”
  •  Once the digital assistant responds to you, just command, ‘Send a WhatsApp message to ‘XYZ’ (mention the name of the person or contact whom you wish to send a message).
  •  Now, Google Assistant will again ask you about what should be mentioned in the message.
  •  As you dictate the message, the virtual assistant will simultaneously type and display the message. It will then say that the message is ready to send.
  •  Lastly, you just need to say “Okay, send it” and your message will be delivered. You can also command ‘Change it’ in case of any corrections.
