Westworld season 4: The Man In Black will apparently ‘kill everyone’

Westworld creator Jonathan Nolan has claimed that the Man In Black (Ed Harris) will ‘kill everyone’ in season four.

Last month, HBO’s sci-fi epic ended its third series on the apparent demise of the human version character, murdered by his own host-copy created by a murderous Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson), who herself is implanted with the mind of Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood).

Listen, it’s Westworld, this was never not going to be complicated.

Now, it appears there’s one Man In Black in town – and he’s got death on the mind, and no-one’s safe.

Speaking during an online roundtable with the series’ stars, Nolan admitted: ‘I’m a big believer in being guided by irony.

[The Man in Black] winds up becoming this thing [a host] that he’s controlled for so long.’

He continued: ‘And on a visceral level, I just can’t wait to watch Ed kill everyone.’

Westworld season three also ended on the shocking note of the apparent demise of its main character, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood).

Nolan has also thrown doubt over whether Wood will continue to appear in the show, stating that ‘that version of the character is gone.’

‘Let me clarify: Dolores is gone,’ he explained to Variety. ‘We’re not yet discussing publicly the direction the show is taking, but the fun thing about this show is, you know, from the beginning Lisa [Joy] and I wanted to make a show that constantly reinvented itself, that could be a different show every season.’

We’ll tell you one thing, though, we don’t believe it for a second.

TikTok seeks to distance itself from China – and the reason is obvious

One of the most popular social media app TikTok has distanced itself from China after Indian government banned 49 Chinese apps including TikTok.

TikTok Chief Executive Kevin Mayer said in a letter to the Indian government on 28th June that the Chinese government never asked for user data, nor the company would hand over if they ask. TikTok is not available in China but it is possessed by a Chinese company Bytedance, has to distance itself from China to reach a global audience.

Because of a border clash with China TikTok got banned in India with other 58 Chinese apps including Shareit, WeChat, and CamScanner.

“I can confirm that the Chinese government has never made a request to us for the TikTok data of Indian users,” Mayer wrote, adding that data for Indian users is stored in servers in Singapore.

“If we do ever receive such a request in the future, we would not comply.”

The organization had bragged more than 150 million dynamic clients in India at the hour of the boycott while internationally it had in excess of 2 billion downloads toward the beginning of 2020.
