The Users on Wednesday morning reported widespread issues with YouTube’s services, including YouTube TV and YouTube Music. Users have taken to microblogging site Twitter to report about the issues, they are facing and also share memes.
This isn’t the first time that YouTube crashed and users were unable to access the platform or watch videos. There have been several instances in the last year wherein many Google services have suffered outages worldwide.
YouTube said it had resolved issues “across all devices & YouTube services” after users experienced global outages Wednesday morning.
Youtube through a tweet said: The issue is fixed
“We’re seeing reports around difficulties accessing YouTube services within the last hour. We can confirm that this is now fixed and you should be able to access our service without any issues. Thanks for your reports and do let us know if you’re still facing any problems”!
The spokesperson added: “All services are now restored. We apologize to everyone affected, and we will conduct a thorough follow-up review to ensure this problem cannot recur in the future.”
The DownDetector, an online platform that provides users with real-time information about the functioning status of websites, has shown a massive spike in reports against Google services. The trend on Down Detector shows many users in India faced issues with YouTube after 8 AM on Wednesday with a peak around 8:38 AM with over ten thousand complaints.
Down Detector reported that 90 percent of the users had issues watching videos,6 percent had trouble with the website, and 2 percent with the login.
